Modular Safety Egress Training · MSET/HUET

One day that prepares you for the worst minute.

Demand for egress training has grown as oil and gas operations move into deeper offshore waters and rely more on helicopters to reach rigs and platforms. Our programs were developed by leading aviation educators and safety experts, from real field experience.

Training site: Sebastian, FloridaAbout 1 h 15 min from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Course length
6–8 hrs2 hrs classroom, up to 6 hrs practical. Varies with class size.
Class size
15 max / 6 minMinimum 6 students per class. Maximum 15 for all exercises, trained and tested.
Water ratio
1 : 3Instructor to student, at all times in the practical session.
Prerequisites
NoneA short ability assessment opens the practical session.
Level I · Basic

Foundation

Using survival equipment safely, staying calm under environmental and emotional stress, types of incidents, and safe egress. Includes shallow-water tread instruction.

Level II · Advanced

Simulator

Repeated, fully supervised evolutions in the egress simulator, with training on emergency breathing equipment.

Course objective: give each student the knowledge and skills to survive in or over an aquatic environment, taught in the classroom and in the water, and shown in a practical assessment.

An easy-to-remember sequence, drilled step by step in a controlled environment until it becomes reflex.
